Carlos Seiglie Appointed Associate Director of the Graduate Program
The Division of Global Affairs is honored to announce the appointment of distinguished economist, Dr. Carlos Seiglie, as the new Associate Director of the Graduate Program, effective July 1, 2009.
Dr. Seiglie received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, and his undergraduate degree, suma cum laude, from Rutgers University. His teaching and professional experience include teaching at Rutgers University, National Defense University, Columbia University, Northeastern Illinois University, and consulting with Arthur Andersen & Co.
His research is published in numerous journals, including the Journal of Policy Modeling, The Cato Journal and the Journal of Conflict Management and Peace Science.
Dr. Seiglie serves on the editorial boards of: Conflict Management and Peace Science, Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy, Pax Economica, and the Review of Economics of the Household
